About Charliese.

Throughout my 10-year career as a communications professional, I have always gravitated toward work that values my curiosity and allows me to turn my creativity into measurable outcomes. My constant pursuit of inquiry has provided me with a wealth of experience across many industries, including local government; economic development; manufacturing; PR agencies; and higher education—serving in a communications, marketing, and/or community engagement role.

As I continue to think about my future in this profession, one thing is clear: I live for autonomy, diverse client interactions, new challenges, and authentic, mutual relationships. So, what better way to achieve those things than to start building a brand of my own! This can be a little intimidating, but I hope to work with (and learn from) each of you who have paved your way.

Talking about myself has never come easy, so here’s a LinkedIn review from a former colleague:

“Charliese is hard working, dedicated and attentive. Her industry knowledge around Communications, Social Media and Public Relations is as strong as it is deep. Charliese is a true one-stop powerhouse. Her ability to manage people and projects effectively while increasing performance is unparalleled. It is rare to find someone who is as creative as they are detailed and no two words could describe this professional more accurately.”

  • I am often caught dancing randomly throughout the day (during my workout, at dinner, between meetings...you know, the usual).

  • I have two dogs named Edie and Jojo (a play off of B96’s Eddie and Jobo - If you’re a true Chicagoan you get it).

  • I am an avid reader and consumer of books that center BIPOC voices

Welp, that’s all she wrote!
